TELEFANTASIE. NEW PARADIGMS IMAGINATION
Marina D'Amato (Franco Angeli editions)

Telefantasie. Nuovi paradigmi dell'immaginario

Presentation of the book:
For the first time in world history nearly two billion people ( Children and young people) share in the same fantasy world. Television, internet, video games, role playing, offering myths, values, patterns of behavior that pervade an entire generation of humanity. The popular imagination is thus the privileged field of investigation and more important to understand the culture and contemporary society.
sociology is a sociology of the imaginary depth because it attempts to grasp the motivations, the dynamics that underlie and motivate human societies. The imagery throughout the history of civilization, is an intrinsic part of social groups and in the end, a sociology could not exist without imagination, although there is still true to its tradition of sociology of the imaginary, of which this study will constitute a of the first steps. Unlike an area of sociology, based on surveys and polls, sociology of the imaginary is not yet a specific field of discipline clearly defined by its object, but is, at present, a unique way of interpreting social life because, an interest the imaginary dimension of relations between individuals, in fact cuts across all areas of analysis. For this study offers empirical evidence on the myths, values, role models, heroes, offered by television, western, Arab and Eastern European countries, video games, role-playing games online, games for mobile phones.

Marina D'Amato teaches Sociology in the Faculty of Education at the University Roma Tre, where it also coordinates the Master in Education and the media. The need increasingly felt by the families, to talk about mental illness without shame, fear of stigma and social assessment has led the group, led by psychologist psychotherapist Antonio Mosso, to engage in first person to deal in a more interactive as possible, issues such as the humanization of the Services, the feelings of isolation associated with mental illness, concern about the future of their loved ones when, who takes care of them, there will be no more.

Some of the mothers who participated in the meetings tell of their experience brief episodes of psychosis in the world. And, bravely, will highlight how to generate fear monsters.

The core is the choice of the photographs, from the reasons of choice and the stories constructed by the location of the pictures and drawings made by children. FETISHISM IMAGINATION: generations without desire

Speaker: Achille De Gregorio

This thesis will be on a sociological analysis of "morphology" of the latest generations of teenagers, the dynamics that interact in the creation of that inner emptiness that has led to rampant materialism in modern teenagers and is unable to fill. A route, perhaps a little 'self-referential, to understand what the causes that make the reality more likely to hold and satisfy the almost pathological need to be able to move, we can build, project, desire, and the subsequent construction of a kaleidoscopic imagery and sublime extreme instances drives that adolescence as a phase evolutionary promotes. The transformation of the latter in "fetish", because without it not only has the perception of life experiences, but it was not.

Daniela Marino

Therapy as COGNITIVE PROCESS

Speaker: Carlo Guzzi

Through a path that starts from the study of the size of the "third age" to the dynamics of mental processes in senescence, the proposed hypothesis is to consider the art therapy as their cognitive prostheses for this type of user, or the elderly, the subject of the learning experience of internship.

The purpose of this study was precisely to use art therapy as a means to slow the worsening of cognitive functions affected, Because the use of symbolic language, through the activity graph-painting, is a mediator between the imaginary and the rationale for allowing a "making art" in which all the senses are stimulated.

Joseph Mazzocca

ART AND SPIRITUALITY '

experience of art therapy within a monastic community

Speaker: Achille De Gregorio

The argument is based on the treatment, given the brevity of the intervention and its particularity, but diagnostic observation of 6 cases.

HOW THE SATELLITE CITY

Young and art therapy to new paths and new maps

Rapporteur: Graziella De Vita

This thesis aims to highlight the relationship between urban space and youth relationship that occurs - and will be analyzed - through the various and different facets of meaning and use of space by the person in question, and how, over time, this relationship has influenced the construction of identity among young people, sometimes participating in the birth of problems, in other cases as offering valuable support or as a testbed for new vitality. In this regard will be taken into consideration how and practices through which children, in the face of current transformations in urban areas, is reclaiming the space to assert their presence and their individuality.

A NICE silence was never written

The use of minutes in the studio of art therapy

Speaker: Carlo Guzzi

The verbal therapy Nonverbal is a contradiction? Or it may be a useful ally in a process of art therapy? The debate winds through word understood as a sign in the work of graphic art and word Understanding as verbal communication in a therapeutic setting. In the analysis of practical examples in art therapy workshops in order to explore the benefits and risks of the report, particular attention is paid to the application with elderly patients and managing the complex reality linked to Alzheimer's disease.

Sara Volpato

FETISH

Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology and Art-therapy the darker area of sexuality

Speaker: Achille De Gregorio

What is fetish? What does this term today, in a society dominated hyper-reality, in which reigns consumerism, which favors the appearance rather than substance? These are questions I have asked to tackle a topic so intimate that has origins in the relationship with the sacred. The argument then becomes a voyage of discovery of a very complex underground world, where nothing is as it seems ...

TERRITORIES OF DOUBT AND FIGURES OF CRISIS

Globalization deleted almost all cultural and geographical distance, internet and the world has become a volatile Elsewhere, hyperlinked, fleeting relationships and deposits on the ego clouds the stage that should give us membership talks on biotechnology of transsexuality, identity mestizo, a sick planet.
As viewers of a film well done we listen to reality, we "enter" in us, witnesses, re: the media group of male chauvinism and women's sexual phobia object, the universities

The visual artists have accustomed us to an elsewhere that is global and we always teach how to deceive the social and personal crisis, moving in the intimate dreams and fears of otherness in the figures. Nz Tattoos Of The Silver Fren

Worse, we can not go!

"I know you and I are a nun ..."

The phrase from the film "Il Marchese del Grillo" (1981, directed by Mario Monicelli) combined Vauro on the panel, makes it perfectly the idea of the current Italian political situation.

In these days, including demonstrations of 1 million people and political debates, the question springs to mind: "What have we done to deserve this?"
Answer: "The majority of Italians voted the"

In a democratic country this is normal, but what I can not understand what motivates people to vote for Berlusconi and PDL.

I search for answers, I asked directly to supporters the PDL to explain why, but I still can not understand. My reasoning is simple and tell me where am I wrong:

 1. art.1 ) Italy is a democratic republic, founded on work. The sovereignty belongs to the people and is exercised in the manner and within the limits of the Constitution. that Italy is a Republic founded on work and that is, we all agree (even if I am working no longer know what happened), but I just can not understand the last part: "Within the limits of the Constitution." What does this mean? That the Constitution is a "sacred text" and all must respect? If so, why vote for Berlusconi, who continually treads voluntarily?
 2. article 3) All citizens have equal social dignity and are equal before the law , without distinction of sex, race, language, religion, political opinion, personal and social conditions ... If in Italy the law is applied differently to a politician, a teacher, a worker, a freelance ... But above all it is not enforced in case of obvious irregularities, because there is still this article? But above all because it is accepted that Berlusconi votes and write the laws in their favor?
 3. Now I try to put together the two items, giving me a little license: " The sovereignty belongs to the people et ll citizens have equal social dignity and are equal before the law , in the forms and limits of the Constitution " So if all citizens must obey the laws and the Constitution because it has done so much clamor for electoral the PDL would be handed over illegally? When you make a mistake you have to pay the consequences or think it's fair to make some BECCEZIONI?.
 4. Let's pretend that they are of good heart and I can accept the counter-Super B. Why do you want to leave a governing political party, to remedy its own mistake, he manages to make a law aims to solve your problem wrong again? (Irrelevant for the purposes of regional elections). I would like to point out that these mistakes sensational show that the PDL (as well as having cheated) do not even know the Italian law, but then why should govern the country?
 5. Besides having trouble with the law and respect for the rules, the party of freedom and its population of 1 million of the faithful has some problems with memory. Why the May 8, 2001 our dear Silvietta signed the famous "Contract with the Italians," where he undertook, in the event of failure to achieve at least 4 points, not to reapply for the next elections policies. Contract not yet fulfilled and we find our Silvietta in politics.
Now please, people, freedom and love to explain to me, my poor unfaithful to explain what motivates you to vote for Silvio Berlusconi (who as the last thing he promised to fight cancer in 3 years ).

Thanks
